The vaping statistics are an approximation since several states - 109 in all, and many in African and Southeast Asia - lack statistics.
According to the study, as of recent February this period, at minimum 86 million e-cigarette users were mature individuals, mainly in developed nations.
And at least 15 million youth aged 13 and 15 currently vape, according to research from 123 countries.
