Trump's Family Member Gets Professional Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Before Professional Golf Debut

Young golfer getting ready for significant tournament

This young athlete has impressive online following

The young golfer will have multiple high-profile supporters when she begins her professional golf debut on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be connected to a former US president, was granted a sponsor's invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

Her grandfather, an avid golfer, owns numerous golf courses and regularly plays against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I shouldn't elaborate but we play tight competitions," she mentioned.

The golfer shared that her grandfather, unable to come, told her: "Just stay calm."

"He practically advised me to go out there and relax," she explained.

"From my perspective, he's simply a normal grandpa. He can't make it for the tournament. He's focused on running the country, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, the golfer has played in a mere three competitions this year and holds the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

Yet she's able to get advice from golf legend, who is dating Kai's mother.

"He is the greatest golfer globally," the young golfer said.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive individual. He told me to play, enjoy myself, adapting to the flow."

Kai will face some of most prominent players in women's golf at the competition, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Officials stated that involving Kai brings the sport to different demographics, specifically with youth audiences.

The young star boasts millions of followers and recently launched her own fashion and living brand.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
